Etiquette
  • Be punctual for class.
  • Bow when entering and leaving the dojo and workout area.
  • Always refer to the senior instructor as Sir or Maim.
  • Always refer to black-belt students by their last name, i.e., Mr., Ms., or Mrs.
  • Always treat the dojo, your instructor, senior students, peers and junior students with respect.
  • There is no horseplay in the dojo.
  • There shall be no unsupervised sparring in the dojo, unless authorized by sensei. All
  • Striking techniques during sparring must be controlled. Avoid face contact during sparring Matches.
  • Keep your uniform (gi) clean and in good repair.
  • Carry your belt inside equipment bag or rolled inside your uniform.
  • Practice good hygiene. Keep your finger and toe nails clean and trimmed.
  • For safety, do not wear jewelry, watches or rings during training.
  • No eating, drinking, or chewing gum during class.
  • Be attentive and alert in class.
  • Don't lounge about, talk or walk in a casual manner during class or warm-ups.
  • No Cursing or Foul language.
  • Do not leave class without permission.
  • Most important – Focus on the Positive and train hard!
